Refund Policy
Last updated: 26 February 2026
1. Nature of Donations
Darul Quran Purakkad (darulquranpurakkad.com) is a charity-run
educational institution operating
under
the Vidyasadanam Educational & Charitable Trust. The institution is
entirely funded by public donations, zakat, and sadaqah from generous well-wishers.
All contributions made to Darul Quran Purakkad are considered voluntary charitable donations and are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law (including mistaken or unauthorised transfers under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, or RBI guidelines). By making a donation, you acknowledge that it is a voluntary act of charity and not a payment for goods or services.
2. No Payment Processing on This Website
This website does not collect, process, or store any payment or financial information. We do not have any online payment gateway integrated into this website.
Donations are facilitated through:
- Direct Bank Transfer — using the bank account details provided on our website
- UPI Payment — by scanning the QR code provided on our website using your own UPI-enabled banking app
All transactions are carried out directly between the donor and the institution's bank account via the donor's own banking app or service. Darul Quran Purakkad has no control over the transaction process.
3. Non-Refundable Donations
Once a donation has been successfully transferred to the institution's bank account, it is generally considered final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. This applies to all donations made via:
- Bank transfer (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS)
- UPI payments (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or any other UPI app)
- Any other mode of direct transfer
We encourage donors to verify the amount and bank details before initiating any transaction.
4. Transaction Disputes
Since all transactions are processed through your own banking institution or UPI app, any issues related to:
- Failed transactions
- Duplicate charges
- Incorrect amounts transferred
- Technical errors during transfer
should be resolved directly with your respective banking institution or UPI service provider. Darul Quran Purakkad shall not be held responsible for any transaction failures, delays, or errors caused by banking systems.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare and exceptional circumstances — such as a demonstrably erroneous transfer of a significantly incorrect amount — donors may contact us to discuss the situation. While refunds are not guaranteed, we will review each case individually and respond in good faith.
Any such requests must be made in writing (via email) within 7 days of the transaction, along with supporting documentation such as transaction receipts or bank statements.
6. No Fees Charged from Students
Darul Quran Purakkad does not charge any fees from students for education, food, or accommodation. All donations received are used solely for the operation and maintenance of the institution, including:
- Student education and academic programs
- Food and accommodation for students
- Infrastructure maintenance and development
- Staff salaries and administrative costs
