About Darul Quran

Darul Quran, located in Purakkad near Payyoli in Kozhikode district, is a distinguished educational institution dedicated to the comprehensive study of the Holy Quran. Operating under the Vidyasadanam Educational & Charitable Trust, this institution aims to nurture scholarly researchers through Quran-centric learning.

Following the educational model of the early Islamic society, Darul Quran implements an innovative curriculum called 'Integrated Quran & Contemporary Studies (IQCS)'. This program provides an opportunity to meticulously study various aspects of the Quran in three phases, spanning from 8th grade to post-graduation.

As a charity-run institution, Darul Quran is entirely funded by public donations, zakat, and sadaqah from generous well-wishers. No fees are charged from students for education, food, or accommodation.

An affiliated institution for girls, 'Vidyatheeram Women's Academy', also operates alongside Darul Quran, ensuring comprehensive Islamic education for both male and female students.

The primary vision of Darul Quran is to nurture scholarly researchers of the Quran through the 'Integrated Quran & Contemporary Studies' course. We aim to produce graduates who are deeply rooted in Quranic knowledge while being capable of engaging with contemporary challenges.

Furthermore, Darul Quran aims to shape 70% of students who complete the Tafheem course into social engineers who will pursue higher education at national and international universities, gaining influence and control in various sectors of society.

Darul Quran provides free education, food, and accommodation to all students. With a monthly operating cost of approximately ₹7 lakh, we rely on community support. Our goal is to achieve ₹5 lakh sustainable monthly income by 2027.

Admission Through Selection Camp

Darul Quran does not charge fees for education, food, or accommodation. Admission to Tafheem is through a selection camp for students who have completed Tahfeez or those entering 8th grade with ability and interest in Quranic studies.
